Coinone announced on the 24th that it is expanding the scope of the 'Virtual Asset Price Inquiry' service currently available on the KakaoBank app, introducing it as the 'My Virtual Asset Inquiry' service. This is part of the two companies' ongoing efforts to strengthen connectivity between their services.
'My Virtual Asset Inquiry' is an upgraded version of the 'Virtual Asset Price Inquiry' service that Coinone has been providing in partnership with KakaoBank since April. The key feature is that, in addition to the existing virtual asset price information, the service now extends to include information on customers' assets held with Coinone. Users can connect their Coinone account by selecting 'Connect Assets' in the 'My Virtual Asset Inquiry' tab, which is available in the 'View All' menu of the KakaoBank app.
Once the accounts are connected, the total value of the user's assets held with Coinone is displayed at the top of the page. By clicking the 'Asset Analysis' button on the right, users can view comprehensive information about their virtual asset portfolio held with Coinone, including unrealized gains and losses. The service also analyzes investment performance over various periods, from weekly to the past year, and presents this data through graphs and other indicators.
Meanwhile, Coinone is holding a launch event for the KakaoBank 'My Virtual Asset Inquiry' service until August 21. All customers who connect their assets through the 'My Virtual Asset Inquiry' page on the KakaoBank app during the event period and maintain the connection until the benefit distribution date will receive Bitcoin (BTC) worth 2,000 KRW. The event benefits will be distributed in bulk on August 29. Further details can be found on the Coinone website or app.
Coinone Co-CEO Lee Sunghyun stated, "Recently, individuals' investment portfolios have become increasingly diversified," and added, "We have launched a service that allows customers to view their Coinone-held assets within the KakaoBank app, enabling more efficient asset management."
