Emphasizes Direct Efforts in Developing the Campsite and Communication with Citizens

On June 22, Seongnam Mayor Shin Sangjin attended the opening ceremony of the Yuldong Park auto camping site and stated, "We will develop this site into the best healing space in the country so that every Seongnam citizen can enjoy relaxation in nature within the city."

Mayor Shin attended the opening ceremony held at Yuldong Park (124-2 Yuldong, Bundang-gu), delivered a commemorative speech, participated in the ribbon-cutting, and toured the camping site facilities while interacting with citizens.

The ceremony was attended by the vice chairperson of the Seongnam City Council, members of the National Assembly, provincial and city council members, and about 300 citizens, making for a lively event.

In his commemorative speech, Mayor Shin emphasized, "Now, you no longer have to travel far to enjoy camping. We have created a special space where you can experience nature and spend precious time with your family right here in the heart of Seongnam. We devoted ourselves to overseeing the construction process to ensure the camping site could be completed quickly so citizens could enjoy it as soon as possible."

He added, "Going forward, we will continue to listen to the diverse opinions of our citizens and further develop the Yuldong Park auto camping site so that it becomes one of the most renowned attractions in the country."

The Yuldong Park auto camping site consists of a total of 96 sites, including general auto camping sites, sites for two families, deck and tent sites, and sites where pets are allowed. The campsite is equipped with a children's playground, a pet playground, a forest experience area, and a color therapy garden, among other diverse amenities, making it a true healing space in nature for the whole family.
