Songpa-gu to Hold "Career Connection Matching Day" for Women Seeking Employment and Entrepreneurship on June 26

Songpa-gu, Seoul will hold the "2025 Career Connection Matching Day" on June 26 at the Songpa Women's Career Connection Center to support job placement and entrepreneurship for women who have experienced career interruption or currently possess career experience.


Songpa-gu is the most populous district in Seoul and has the highest proportion of women among all autonomous districts. It is also the only district in Seoul to operate the "Songpa Women's Career Connection Center," which supports women returning to society through employment or entrepreneurship after a career break. This event will take place at the Songpa Women's Culture Center (5, Baekjegobun-ro 42-gil) from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The main programs include on-site recruitment interviews and job matching, special lectures by prominent speakers, employment support events such as aptitude tests and interview coaching, and a startup flea market. Several companies, including Coupang Fulfillment Co., Ltd. and HiMedia Academy, will participate in the on-site recruitment interviews. A variety of job types and working arrangements will be available, such as office-based positions suitable for work-life balance (CS customer service representatives, career counselors), and jobs located close to residential areas (distribution-related positions such as goods inspection and display), with both full-time and part-time options offered.


There will also be counseling booths where participants can obtain information on various employment policies and vocational training programs. Multiple job agencies, including the Eastern Employment Welfare Plus Center, will participate to provide job seekers with one-stop information. The special lecture will be delivered by Cho Sunghui, CEO of Mind Power School, on the topic "How to Rebuild My Life Anew." Additional activities such as personal color diagnosis, job interview coaching, and fingerprint aptitude tests will also be available.


On the first floor of the Songpa Women's Culture Center, a flea market will be held to offer solo female entrepreneurs opportunities for market expansion and promotion.
