Seungah Baek, Floor Spokesperson of the Democratic Party, said at a National Assembly briefing on the same day, "It has been revealed that five out of seven heads of public institutions who received the lowest grades (D·E) in the public institution management evaluation were parachute appointees, so-called 'Yoon's favorites.'" She made these remarks accordingly.

She pointed out, "After the impeachment of the president, the so-called 'placeholder' appointees newly appointed by the forces behind the rebellion represent an irresponsible abuse of power that ignores the will of the people and hinders the new government's administration." She continued, "They should be replaced with capable and verified individuals who can take responsibility for the lives of the people," and emphasized, "We hope they will not obstruct the new government's administration and will fulfill at least their minimum duty to the nation and its people."

The Democratic Party also demanded a thorough investigation into whether the conservative-leaning education group 'Reebak School,' which is under suspicion of manipulating online comments, had any connection with the Ministry of Education under the Yoon Suk Yeol administration.

Baek stated, "It has been confirmed that an organization co-headed by Son Hyo Sook, the head of Reebak School, attempted to sign a three-party business agreement with the Ministry of Education and the Korean Senior Citizens Association in May last year. This further deepens suspicions of links between the Ministry of Education under the Yoon Suk Yeol administration and far-right organizations."

She added, "The Yoon Suk Yeol administration filled the heads of historical institutions with New Right figures and contributed to the revival of the highly controversial New Right textbooks," and continued, "Now that this attempted business agreement has come to light, we cannot dispel the suspicion that the infiltration of far-right groups into the education sector was aided and tacitly supported by the Yoon Suk Yeol administration."
