Creation of a Bio-Specialized Complex
Siheung City, Gyeonggi Province, announced on June 21 that it had signed a sales contract for Research Site 3-1 in the Baegot District, a Gyeonggi Free Economic Zone, at the headquarters of Chongkundang on June 20.
This contract is a follow-up measure to the memorandum of understanding for investment that both parties signed on June 10 to establish an advanced biopharmaceutical complex research and development center.
The site in question, located at 302 Baegot-dong, covers an area of 79,791 square meters. Chongkundang plans to build an advanced biopharmaceutical complex research and development center on this site. The company aims to complete all related administrative procedures, including permits and approvals, within this year and begin construction.
Ham Eunjeong, Director of Future Strategy at Siheung City, stated, "This contract marks the practical starting point for the creation of a bio-specialized complex in Siheung City," adding, "The city will provide comprehensive administrative support without reservation."
