Daejeon City to Supply Land for Phase 2 of Daedeok Pyeongchon District Urban Development Project Perspective view of Daedeok Pyeongchon District Urban Development Project Phase 2 / Daejeon City

Daejeon City announced that it will begin the full-scale supply of land for Phase 2 of the Pyeongchon District Urban Development Project starting in July.

A total of 53 lots will be available for sale, including 45 lots for industrial facilities, 6 lots for support facilities, and 2 lots for parking facilities.

Based on the results of Phase 1, where 100% of the industrial facility lots and 85% of the support facility lots were sold, the city will again focus on supplying land to actual end-users for this second phase. The Pyeongchon District is planned to be developed as a hub for small-scale root industry companies and as a practical industrial complex with strong industrial competitiveness.

The 45 industrial facility lots (34,444 square meters) will be supplied through a competitive bidding process for end-users via the Korea Asset Management Corporation's "Onbid System" during July.

The payment for the lots can be made in five installments: a down payment, three interim payments, and a final payment. The payment period is within two years, and an interest-free condition will be applied, reducing the financial burden on companies in the early stages of occupancy.

Choi Youngjun, Director of Urban Housing at Daejeon City, stated, "This Phase 2 land sale will mark a major turning point in developing the Pyeongchon District as a practical industrial base centered on small-scale manufacturing companies," and added, "We will continue to expand customized industrial infrastructure to realize 'Daejeon, a business-friendly city.'"
