Through the agreement signed on the 19th, the two organizations have decided to pursue practical cooperation, including the operation of labor human rights education programs, support for labor law consultations and practical consulting, and the exchange of labor-related information and sharing of case studies.
This agreement is part of efforts to strengthen labor human rights sensitivity within public institutions and to establish a stable labor-management environment, with a focus on spreading the value of 'respect for labor' throughout the organizational culture.
Busan Labor Rights Center, established by Busan Metropolitan City in 2020, is leading the improvement of the local labor culture through field-oriented support projects such as labor counseling and rights protection, psychological counseling programs, and the training of labor safety activists.
Kim Taeyeol, Director of Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, emphasized, "In an era where ESG management is increasingly emphasized, public institutions have a responsibility to set an example in respecting labor human rights.
