Lotte Construction Hosts Family Trip for Employees
Promoting Family-Friendly Management with Annual Travel Program
On June 17, Lotte Construction announced that it had organized a travel program for employees and their families as part of its family-friendly management initiatives.
Lotte Construction launched this program in 2011, and this year marks its 31st edition. The company covers all expenses. Employees and their families participate in a two-day, one-night trip together.
This year, a total of 86 employees and family members took part in the program. From June 13 for two days, they stayed at Lotte Hotel & Resort Gimhae, spending time at the water park. The hotel, used as accommodation, was built by Lotte Construction. It is located in the Gimhae Tourism Distribution Complex in Gimhae, Gyeongnam, with a total floor area of 40,000 square meters and 250 guest rooms.

One participating employee said, "It was meaningful to have a unique experience and spend precious time with my family after a long time."
A Lotte Construction representative explained, "We are making various efforts to boost employee morale and enhance corporate value. We also strive to help families better understand the company and build closer relationships."
In addition to family trips, Lotte Construction operates various family-friendly policies. These include mandatory paternity leave, a workplace daycare center, and gifts provided for family events such as school admissions, holidays, and the college entrance exam.
Volunteer activities are also conducted. Last month, employees and their families participated in volunteer work at the Seoul National Cemetery. Last year, agricultural products grown in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, were donated to underprivileged groups in the local community.
