Burger King 'Crisper' Surpasses 1.15 Million Sales in Just Two Months After Launch

Fastest Growth Among This Year's New Products
'Originals 150g' Surpasses Sales Target by 200%

Burger King announced on June 17 that its chicken burger platform 'Crisper', which was first introduced in April, has reached a cumulative sales volume of 1.15 million units within just two months of its launch.


'Crisper' is a newly launched chicken burger platform by Burger King, designed to target consumers who prefer a mild chicken patty. According to Burger King, it is showing the fastest growth among all new menu items released in the first half of this year.

Following the launch of Crisper, overall sales of Burger King's chicken burger menu have also increased. In fact, compared to the average sales volume of all chicken burgers during the five weeks prior to Crisper's release, sales of chicken burgers have risen by approximately 2.5 times since its launch.


The premium line 'Originals 150g', which was launched on June 12, is also enjoying early popularity. The 'Originals' series exceeded its initial weekly sales target by about 200% in its first week. 'Originals 150g' features a patty that is 33% thicker than the Whopper and was introduced to strengthen Burger King's competitiveness in the premium burger market.


A Burger King representative stated, "The success of 'Crisper' and 'Originals' appears to be due to the clear targeting and positioning of each menu item, which effectively captured customers' preferences," adding, "We plan to continue introducing innovative menu items in the second half of the year that customers can look forward to."
