Launch of 'Easy Advertising' Platform... Store Promotion Available
Store Owners Can Advertise Directly for Kakao Map Registered Locations

On June 16, Kakao announced the launch of its 'Easy Advertising' platform, which allows anyone to easily create advertisements. Easy Advertising is a Kakao business platform that enables users to create and manage ads with just a few taps on a mobile device. The first advertising product officially released is the 'Promote My Store' ad, designed for small business owners.
'Promote My Store' is a product that allows store owners to directly guide users to their stores registered on Kakao Map. After signing up for Kakao Business and completing store owner verification through the Kakao Map store management service, advertising can begin immediately.
This advertising product features a variety of functions designed to be simple even for beginners with no prior advertising experience. These include automatic creative generation, instant ad execution, and free performance report notifications via KakaoTalk. Free ad coupons are also provided to help users easily start advertising. In addition, store owners can include not only their desired store images and ad copy, but also various benefit information offered by their stores.
The advertising budget can be set from a minimum of 100 KRW to a maximum of 100,000 KRW per day. The ad cost is 0.5 KRW per impression, so with a budget of 10,000 KRW, a store owner can achieve up to 20,000 impressions. These ads are displayed on KakaoTalk's More tab, Kakao Map search results, BizBoard, and other Kakao services.
To celebrate the launch of the 'Promote My Store' ad, Kakao is offering a total of 60,000 KRW in free ad coupons: 30,000 KRW when creating a Kakao Business ad account, and an additional 30,000 KRW upon registering an auto-payment card.
