Targeting 22 Atopy and Asthma Safe Schools
Seo District in Gwangju (District Mayor Kim Ikang) is running a puppet show program titled "Crash! The Great Operation to Eliminate Allergic Rhinitis" throughout the month of June to help prevent allergic rhinitis in children.
According to Seo District on the 16th, this program targets 22 Atopy·Asthma Safe Schools, including daycare centers and kindergartens. It is designed to provide accurate health information?such as the causes and prevention methods of allergic rhinitis?at a level suitable for children, and to support the development of healthy lifestyle habits.
The performance will be held a total of 10 times in various formats for accessibility, including the "Visiting Puppet Show," where the show is brought directly to Safe Schools, and the "Group Puppet Show," where children gather to watch together at Deulbul Hall in Seo District Office and at the Yudeok-dong Administrative Welfare Center.
Lee Eunju, head of the Health Promotion Division, said, "We hope this program will help children grow up healthy and prevent allergic diseases," and added, "We will continue to expand health education in collaboration with the local community."
