Jeollanam-do announced on June 14 that it will host the 'Summer Bloom Festa' at Sani Garden in Haenam through August, marking the peak of the summer garden season.

The Summer Bloom Festa is a seasonal event following the 'First Spring Festa' and 'Kumjakhwa Festa' held in spring. It features summer flower exhibitions and various hands-on programs. In June, signature summer flowers such as Shasta daisies, hydrangeas, and lilies are in full bloom throughout the garden, offering visitors the essence of the season.

In particular, lily varieties developed exclusively by Sani Garden are highlighted as a major attraction. Magnolia grandiflora, which blooms in early summer, also enhances the summer atmosphere with its unique fragrance and size.

Interactive exhibition content is also available. 'Coloring Sani Garden' is a participatory exhibition where visitors of all ages can color flower and insect stickers on a mural, allowing everyone to join freely. Through this, visitors can move beyond passive appreciation and actively participate as part of the garden.

In July and August, a water play area and forest trail trekking programs will be offered for families. The water bounce playground, set up in the garden, is expected to be a popular summer attraction, while the trekking courses are centered around ecological spaces such as the 'Butterfly Garden' and 'Spider Forest.'

Additionally, the 'Garden Expedition' program is an ecological education activity for children, allowing them to observe and experience the habitats of insects and plants directly. This is a family-oriented program utilizing Sani Garden's natural education resources. Detailed program information can be found on the Sani Garden website.

Seo Sooncheol, Jeonnam Provincial Corporate City Officer, stated, "This Summer Bloom Festa aims to provide a unique summer garden culture where families can connect with nature through differentiated content tailored to the seasonal changes of the garden."
