The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization is embarking on a nationwide tour to promote tourism in Gyeonggi Province.
On June 13, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced that, starting with Chungju in North Chungcheong Province on June 12, it will operate the "Mobile Gyeonggi Tourism Promotion Center" across the country until November. This year, the organization plans to highlight the appeal of Gyeonggi tourism mainly at major festivals and events across the nation that attract large numbers of visitors.
The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization will first participate in the "Chungju Dive Festival," which is being held at the Chungju Sports Complex area until June 15. Subsequently, the organization will operate the promotion center more than 10 times at major events nationwide, including Yeouido Hangang Park (July 5-6) and the National Sports Festival in Busan (October 17-23).

This year, the promotion center is set up in a small wing-body (wing-shaped) truck, with the main theme of recommending family-friendly tourist destinations. In particular, the organization will focus on promoting the "Gyeonggi Tour Pass," an integrated pass for Gyeonggi tourism. The center will also introduce tourist attractions through a variety of hands-on experiences that people of all ages can enjoy, such as finding Gyeonggi tourist site magnets, playing the Gyeonggi Tourism Blue Marble game, coloring postcards, decorating personalized Gyeonggi card covers, and operating a photo zone.
A representative from the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization stated, "Last year, we received a great response by operating the vehicle-type promotion center in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gimhae, and other locations. This year, we will diversify our content and experiential elements even further to increase on-site participation and encourage interest in and visits to tourist destinations within the province."
