Promoting 'Matcance' Summer Tourism and Hometown Love Donation Program

Jangseong County in South Jeolla Province announced on June 12 that it will participate in the 'Jamsu Bridge Ttubuk Ttubuk Festival' held at Jamsu Bridge in Seoul on June 15, operating a direct transaction market for agricultural specialty products from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This event is organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in collaboration with local governments to promote regional history, culture, and agricultural specialty products. Jangseong County will showcase more than 40 types of specialty products, including strawberries, rice cakes, nurungji (scorched rice), pickled foods, and rice snacks. Local residents living in Seoul and county officials will also visit the site to promote sales, support the 'Visit Jangseong Year,' and raise awareness of the Hometown Love Donation Program.
Kim Hanjong, Governor of Jangseong County, stated, "We will continue to actively promote Jangseong's agricultural specialty products by participating in various external markets in Seoul," and added, "We will use this event as an opportunity to promote Jangseong's summer tourism brand, 'Matcance.'
