640 Households to Be Built in Uijeongbu Area
Daebang Construction has secured the contract for Section 3 of the "Uijeongbu Ujeong A-3BL Apartment Construction Project," which is being promoted in the Nokyang-dong area of Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province.
On June 12, Daebang Construction announced that it had signed a formal contract regarding the order with the Public Procurement Service and would officially commence the project.
This project is a public sale housing initiative in which Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) is participating as the client. The large-scale project will be built on a total site area of approximately 32,400 square meters, with a total floor area of about 87,395 square meters. It will consist of nine apartment buildings ranging from one basement level to a maximum of 29 stories above ground, providing a total of 640 units. The contract amount is approximately 129.53 billion won, and the construction period is scheduled from this month until January 2028.
The bidding was conducted under the comprehensive evaluation bidding system, and Daebang Construction was selected as the final contractor after competing with 54 other companies. Previously, in May, the company won the contract for the "Songsan Green City Southern District Phase 2 Landscaping Project," and last month, it succeeded in securing its first order from the Maintenance Business Division. In the Busan area, Daebang Construction was chosen as the contractor for three projects: the Ildong Park Mansion Small-Scale Reconstruction Project, the Jeongnam Apartment Surrounding Street Housing Maintenance Project, and the Deokcheon-dong Area Street Housing Maintenance Project. The company plans to oversee the integrated construction of these three complexes, totaling 466 units.
A Daebang Construction representative stated, "We plan to further solidify our position in both the public and private housing markets based on our technological capabilities and quality," adding, "Through this, we aim to achieve sustainable growth and improved performance even amid the downturn in the construction industry."
