Toss Expands Its App to Offer a Variety of Everyday Services
Viva Republica, the operator of the mobile financial service Toss, announced on June 12 that it is recruiting partners for "App in Toss."
App in Toss is a format that provides multiple services within a single app, allowing users to access partner company services directly through the Toss app.
In addition to Toss's financial services, users can access lifestyle services, online and offline store integrations, games, and entertainment services through the "Mini App" menu in the Toss app.
Toss plans to actively open up its app via App in Toss to help startups establish a foundation for growth. The company will share its expertise and infrastructure across all aspects of app operation, including development, design, and marketing. Partner companies can also use the Toss app as a testbed.
Going forward, Toss plans to build an even more diverse App in Toss ecosystem with additional partners. The goal is to provide a user experience that connects finance and daily life through a single Toss app, and to become a "super app for everyday life" together with its partners.
A Toss representative stated, "App in Toss is an opportunity for startups to quickly gauge real user reactions and improve product quality," adding, "We will provide users with a mobile experience that allows them to access a variety of everyday services through a single Toss app."
