Geumsan County's Sanggok-ri to See Residential Environment Improvements by 2027 with 5 Billion Won Investment
Chungnam Province announced on June 12 that Geumsan County has been selected for the second round of the Rural Space Improvement Project organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, securing 2.5 billion won in national funding.
The selected site is the Sanggok-ri district in Gunbok-myeon, Geumsan County. A total of 5 billion won will be invested by 2027 to improve the residential environment, including the demolition of abandoned livestock facilities.
As a result, including previously selected areas, a total of 105 billion won will be invested in 12 districts across the province to carry out improvement projects.
Lee Hyukse, head of the Rural Restructuring Division of the province, stated, "We plan to proceed with improvements in line with the rural space restructuring policy," adding, "We will enhance the residential conditions in rural areas within the province, lay the foundation for balanced regional development, and improve the quality of life for rural residents."
