In early summer, just before the monsoon season, cloudy skies and rain have once again been forecasted for Gwangju and Jeonnam.

According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, on the 13th, the entire Gwangju and Jeonnam region will be mostly cloudy and experience rainfall due to the influence of a pressure trough moving eastward near Shanghai, China. The expected precipitation is between 20 and 80 mm from early morning until the afternoon of the following day.

The morning low temperatures will range from 17 to 20 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs will range from 22 to 26 degrees Celsius. Wave heights in both the West Sea and South Sea coastal waters are expected to reach up to 1 meter, and ultrafine dust levels are forecasted to be 'good'.

An official from the Meteorological Administration stated, "There may be gusty winds, thunder, and lightning in the southern distant offshore areas of the West Sea and the southwestern distant offshore areas of the South Sea, so vessels navigating or operating in these waters should exercise caution."
