Daejeon Women Employment Expo Held at City Hall with Over 30 Companies Participating '2025 Daejeon Women Employment Expo' held in the lobby on the 2nd floor of Daejeon City Hall on the 12th / Daejeon City

The Daejeon city government announced that it held the '2025 Daejeon Women Employment Expo' in the lobby on the 2nd floor of City Hall on June 12.

The expo was bustling with job seekers who arrived early in the morning. Participants, holding carefully prepared resumes and cover letters, earnestly hoped to secure employment as they took part in one-on-one interviews with HR managers from participating companies.

More than 30 companies took part in the event, recruiting for a variety of positions. In addition to interviews, job seekers also participated in supplementary programs aimed at enhancing their job-seeking skills, such as taking ID photos, personal color analysis, and calligraphy.

Yoo Deukwon, Deputy Mayor for Administrative Affairs of Daejeon, visited the venue to observe how job seekers were preparing for their interviews and spoke with HR managers from participating companies to listen to feedback from the recruitment field.

Deputy Mayor Yoo stated, "It is a difficult time for both companies and job seekers, but I hope this event will serve as a genuine opportunity rather than just a simple recruitment fair." He added, "Daejeon City will continue to provide strong support to expand women's participation in economic activities and to promote employment."
