Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation (President Minkyung Sun) announced on the 12th that it held the "Cheongbarji (short for 'Integrity is Right Now') Day" along with the "Integrity Wish Tree Campaign" on the 11th to promote a clean and transparent public service culture. On this day, executives and employees attended the event in jeans in a relaxed atmosphere and took time to make pledges and practice spreading a culture of integrity.

The "Integrity Wish Tree" activity involved executives and employees voluntarily writing messages about practicing a culture of integrity and hanging them on a tree. Phrases such as "I will not tolerate even small acts of corruption" and "I will act transparently myself" were gathered on the Integrity Wish Tree, creating a symbolic scene in which each individual's participation leads to a culture of integrity throughout the entire organization.


Minkyung Sun, President of Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation, stated, "For public officials, integrity is not a choice but the foundation of our work, and without a transparent organizational culture, the credibility of a public institution cannot be sustained." She added, "Wearing jeans and pledging integrity is more than just a performance; it marks the beginning of a voluntary integrity movement in which all employees of the corporation promise to practice integrity on their own."


Meanwhile, the corporation has designated the 11th of every month as "Cheongbarji Day," reflecting the upright image of bamboo, and encourages voluntary participation from executives and employees. It also operates an annual Integrity Week under the theme "Integrity by Our Side, Fairness by the Citizens' Side." Through these various integrity activities, the corporation has established itself as a leading institution in integrity, achieving a Grade 2 (the highest within its group) in the 2024 Comprehensive Integrity Evaluation.
