Busan Bumin Hospital (Director Choi Changhwa) has newly recruited two specialized medical professionals to strengthen its capabilities in gastroenterology and critical care.
Minchae Jeon, Manager, has joined the gastroenterology department. Manager Jeon is an internal medicine specialist with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of gastrointestinal diseases, including upper and lower endoscopy, hepatobiliary diseases, and gastrointestinal cancers. After completing her training at Busan Medical Center, she worked as a fellow and clinical professor at Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital. She currently holds board certification in internal medicine from the Korean Society of Internal Medicine and is also certified as a specialist in gastrointestinal endoscopy by the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
In addition, to further strengthen critical care, Seunghwan Pyeon, Manager, has newly joined as an intensivist in the intensive care unit, supplementing the existing dedicated system. The hospital expects that this reinforcement of personnel will enable faster and more intensive care in emergency situations.
Director Choi Changhwa stated, "Recruiting specialized medical staff is a measure to further strengthen our patient-centered care services," and added, "We will continue to do our best to become a hospital trusted by the local community."
