Two Menu Options: Maple Garlic and New York Steak
Burger King announced on June 12 that it will launch two new products, the 'Originals 150g,' featuring patties increased to 150g in weight.
This new product is part of Burger King's premium 'Originals' line. It maintains the signature flame-grilled flavor of the Whopper, while featuring a thick patty weighing 150g, which is 33% heavier than the previous version.
The 'Originals 150g' is available in two menu options. The 'Originals Maple Garlic' combines sweet maple syrup with oak-smoked bacon and whole garlic, achieving a well-balanced sweet and savory flavor. The 'Originals New York Steak' is inspired by traditional steakhouses, featuring a classic steak sauce paired with creamy Monterey Jack cheese to capture the authentic taste of American cuisine. Both burgers use brioche buns with a buttery flavor, enhancing the richness of the beef and sauce. The 'Originals Maple Garlic' and 'Originals New York Steak' are priced at 10,500 won for the burger alone and 12,500 won for the set.
A Burger King representative stated, "The thick patty of the 'Originals 150g' delivers a texture and flavor that truly reflect Burger King's commitment to the authentic taste and quality of beef," adding, "By incorporating a variety of ingredients inspired by countries around the world, we aim to provide customers with a unique gourmet experience in their everyday lives."
