Gwangju China Center Hosts 'Color, Texture, People' Chinese Culture Photo Exhibition

The 'Color, Texture, People: Chinese Culture Photo Exhibition' currently being held by the Gwangju China Center is attracting a steady stream of visitors.

According to Honam University on June 11, the photo exhibition will run until June 30 in the multipurpose hall on the first floor of the Gwangju China Center. It was organized under the message, "Color helps us remember the landscape, texture lets us feel the tradition at our fingertips, and people leave behind stories." Through more than 50 photographs capturing scenes from across China, the exhibition conveys the visual sensibility and emotional depth of Chinese culture.

The exhibition vividly depicts the landscapes and everyday lives of ethnic minorities in various regions, including Beijing, Shanghai, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Guangdong, and Tibet. Visitors can experience at a glance the unique culture where tradition and modernity coexist in China.

Jung Jongil, Director of the China Center, stated, "Culture is something you see with your eyes and feel with your heart," adding, "I hope this exhibition provides citizens with an opportunity to understand and empathize with Chinese culture on an emotional level."
