Daegu Sangseo High School (Principal Lee Changho) announced that its girls' table tennis team achieved back-to-back championships by winning the girls' high school team event at the 63rd National Boys' and Girls' Middle and High School Table Tennis Championships, which was held at the Gimcheon Indoor Gymnasium in North Gyeongsang Province from June 5 to June 9, 2025.
In the preliminary round, Sangseo High School recorded four consecutive victories, securing first place in their group and advancing to the semifinals. In the semifinals, they defeated Cheongyang Jeongsang High School 4-2 to reach the finals, and in the final match, they clinched the championship by winning 4-2 in a close contest against Hwaseong Urban Corporation Team.

This victory marks the second consecutive year that Sangseo High School's girls' table tennis team has won the championship, following their triumph at the 62nd tournament last year, once again demonstrating their strength as a powerhouse team. Additionally, third-year player Moon Chowon achieved an excellent result by placing third in the individual singles event.
Principal Lee Changho stated, "This result is the product of the players' determination and focus, as well as the dedication of the coaching staff," and added, "We will continue to provide our full support so that the Sangseo High School table tennis team can lead the future of table tennis in Korea."
