On June 11, the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea (Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae) announced that it held the launch ceremony for the 'Our Jeonnam Hopeful Summer Chyak Chyak Chyak Sharing Campaign,' which will run for 35 days until the 15th of next month.

The launch ceremony for the 'Our Jeonnam Hopeful Summer Chyak Chyak Chyak Sharing Campaign,' held at Yoon Seondo Hall in Jeonnam Provincial Government on the same day, was attended by Noh Dongil, Chairman of Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae, Kim Yungrok, Governor of Jeonnam Province, Kim Taegyun, Chairman of Jeonnam Provincial Council, as well as heads of the first donor organizations and company representatives, totaling more than 50 participants.

The 'Our Jeonnam Hopeful Summer Chyak Chyak Chyak Sharing Campaign' is a unique campaign of Sarangui-Yeolmae, created to encourage treating neighbors like family through everyday acts of giving. The campaign name is an abbreviation for 'Good Stores,' 'Good Workplaces,' and 'Good Households.'

At the launch event for the 'Our Jeonnam Hopeful Summer Chyak Chyak Chyak Sharing Campaign,' which will run for 35 days, Hanbit Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. made the first donation of 50 million won, marking the start of the campaign. This was followed by Jeonnam Development Corporation contributing 500 million won, and the social workers of Jeonnam Province collectively donating approximately 2.43 million won, continuing the spirit of sharing.

Additionally, as part of the designated donation project for 'Mobile Welfare Service Vehicles,' 20 million won was provided to Ye-gwang Village in Suncheon and 20 million won to Jeonnam Volunteer Center. Furthermore, Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae supported Jeonnam Volunteer Center with 240 million won for summer supplies kits.

The donations collected during the 'Our Jeonnam Hopeful Summer Chyak Chyak Chyak Sharing Campaign' will be used to support those in welfare blind spots facing difficulties due to the economic crisis, as well as to address social risks in the Jeonnam region, such as heatwaves caused by the climate crisis.

Noh Dongil, Chairman of Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae, said, "I hope this campaign will be a cool shade for our neighbors in Jeonnam who face even greater hardships during the summer," and added, "I look forward to the widespread adoption of kind sharing that treats neighbors like family."
