Support for the Entire Application Process
The Korea Management Innovation Association for SMEs (MainBiz Association) announced on June 11 that it held the "2025 Business Restructuring Support Project Briefing Session" at the SpaceShare Seoul Station Center on June 10.
At the briefing session, practical and specific information was provided to small and medium-sized enterprises planning proactive business restructuring. The topics covered included an overview of the Business Restructuring Support Project, case studies of outstanding companies, the approval process for business restructuring, and guidelines for preparing project plans.
The Business Restructuring Support Project is a program based on the Corporate Vitalization Act that helps companies respond proactively to rapidly changing internal and external environments and pursue sustainable growth.
Through this program, companies can receive customized benefits necessary for the business restructuring process, such as regulatory relief under the Commercial Act and the Fair Trade Act, tax support, financial support, R&D support, and asset sale support. There are six types of support: resolving oversupply, stabilizing supply chains, entering new industries, responding to industrial crisis areas, digital transformation, and carbon neutrality.
As a partner organization for the Business Restructuring Support Project, the MainBiz Association supports the entire process of applications for the second round of the Employee Restructuring Support Project, which is open until the end of this month.
Cha Youngtae, Executive Director of the MainBiz Association, stated, "We plan to continue increasing understanding of the program through on-site briefing sessions and to focus on providing practical support based on field demand."
