Since October of last year, Gwangju Shinsegae has launched a large number of new brands at Play Spot. By opening the first stores in Honam for street brand Thisisneverthat and French outdoor brand Salomon, the company has seen an increase in visits from customers in their 20s and 30s, achieving notable results.
Mandaraduck, which opened its first store in Honam at Gwangju Shinsegae on June 5, is also attracting a steady stream of customers. Founded in Italy in 1977, Mandaraduck is a fashion accessories brand renowned for its backpacks with distinctive designs.
Previously available only in the Seoul metropolitan area and a few other regions, Mandaraduck has now opened a store at Gwangju Shinsegae Play Spot, making it more convenient for consumers in Gwangju and Jeonnam to purchase its products. At the Gwangju Shinsegae Mandaraduck store, customers can find popular models such as the Signature Backpack and the Nomad Backpack all in one place.
