Gwangju Seogu District Recruiting Participants for "Traditional Korean Medicine Health Lecture" Until June 20

Open to Men and Women Aged 20 to 49... First 70 Registrants

On June 25, Seogu District in Gwangju will hold a traditional Korean medicine health lecture titled "Understanding Sasang Constitution to Improve Reproductive Health" at Deulbul Hall in the Seogu District Office.


According to Seogu on June 11, this lecture is aimed at young and middle-aged adults. It has been organized to help form healthy habits from a young age in response to social changes such as the rising age of marriage, and to provide information on how to enhance reproductive capacity using traditional Korean medicine.

The event will begin with a pre-lecture performance by the Seogu District Office music band "Go West." Following this, Professor Choi Changmin from the Department of Pediatrics, Adolescents, and Women's Medicine at Wonkwang University Gwangju Korean Medicine Hospital will focus on topics such as dietary therapy and lifestyle habits according to constitution, traditional Korean medicine approaches to reproductive health management, and methods for restoring physical balance. In addition, there will be a simple Sasang constitution diagnosis and counseling, a tasting booth for traditional Korean herbal tea, and a promotional booth for maternal and child health projects.


The lecture will be held for 70 participants. Those wishing to attend should register in advance by calling the Health Promotion Division of the Seogu District Office by June 20.


Kim Ikang, the head of the district office, stated, "I hope this traditional Korean medicine health lecture will be of practical help to young residents of reproductive age regarding pregnancy and childbirth," and added, "We will continue to expand tailored health programs for each stage of life to further promote the health of our residents."
