Since 2015, Samsung Electronics has held the SCPC annually to expand the software ecosystem and discover outstanding talent.

This year, the company has introduced a new "AI Challenge" to identify individuals with artificial intelligence (AI) development capabilities, operating the competition in two categories alongside the existing "Software Algorithm Challenge." Any undergraduate or graduate student interested in programming can participate, regardless of grade or major.

Applications can be submitted on the Samsung Research website from today until July 10. All preliminary rounds of the challenge will be held online, while the finals are scheduled to take place at the Samsung Electronics Seoul R&D Campus.

The final winners of the challenge will receive cash prizes and preferential hiring benefits from Samsung Electronics. Since 2015, approximately 37,000 university students have participated in the Samsung Electronics Collegiate Programming Challenge, with a total of 365 winners, contributing to the development of outstanding software talent.
