Chungnam Provincial Police Appoints Executive Board of Green Mothers Association

Six Executive Members Appointed and Certificates of Appreciation Presented to 19 Green Mothers

The Chungnam Provincial Police Agency and the Chungnam Autonomous Police Committee announced on June 11 that they had held an inauguration ceremony for the executive board of the Chungnam Green Mothers Association on June 10.

The police agency and the committee selected the executive board members for the Chungnam region, with the presidents and vice presidents of Green Mothers Associations from each city and county in attendance.

During the general meeting of the Chungnam Green Mothers Association, appointment letters were presented to six executive members, including Lee Minhee, president of the Hongseong chapter, who was selected as the new president of the association, and Son Mijin, president of the Nonsan chapter, who was appointed as the senior vice president.

In addition, certificates of appreciation were awarded to 19 Green Mothers members who had participated in children's traffic safety activities.

Lee Mikyung, head of the Public Safety Division of the Chungnam Provincial Police Agency, stated, "Thanks to the responsible traffic volunteer work of Green Mothers members, there have been no child traffic fatalities in school zones in Chungnam Province for five consecutive years." She added, "I urge Green Mothers to continue to prioritize their own safety during volunteer activities and to work hard for children's traffic safety."
