The supply to Seodaemun-gu senior centers was carried out through a competitive bidding process. Bodyfriend was ultimately selected as the supplier, receiving high marks for the effectiveness and value of its "robotics technology" for seniors, as well as for its excellent free after-sales service (AS) and follow-up management.

Recently, Bodyfriend has achieved a series of successes in bidding for senior centers at the city and district level nationwide, where senior health management is a priority. In May this year, revenue from senior center contracts increased by 91% compared to the previous year.

The product supplied to these senior centers is the healthcare robot "FALCONi (FALCON·i)," which features specialized functions for caring for the lower body muscles and knee joints of seniors, who are prone to weakening in these areas.

In particular, the signature "Robo Gastrocnemius Relaxation" mode of the FALCONi is a massage program specifically designed for lower body care for senior customers. The gastrocnemius, also known as the "calf muscle," is often referred to as the "second heart" because it helps extend the ankle when walking or running, and enables the knee to bend and straighten with force. When the "Robo Gastrocnemius Relaxation" mode is activated, the device uses a large-capacity 20-liter air pump?about six times more powerful than standard calf massagers?to focus massage on the calves, relieving fatigue in the gastrocnemius and assisting seniors in managing their lower bodies.

Additionally, the device features an XD massage module that can protrude up to 120 mm, providing a deep massage experience. It offers a total of 16 massage modes, including Robo Care, Daily Care, and Area-Specific Care, allowing seniors to target desired body areas and providing full-body massage functions such as core and lower body stretching.

A Bodyfriend representative stated, "There is a growing demand from local governments and senior centers for healthcare robot products optimized for the daily lives of senior customers. Moving forward, we will continue to promote the health of seniors through the supply of massage chairs to senior centers, while also identifying customer groups that truly need healthcare robots and accelerating our B2B sales efforts."
