On June 11, Gongju City in South Chungcheong Province announced that the 4th Yugusaekdong Hydrangea Garden Flower Festival will be held at the Yugusaekdong Hydrangea Garden from June 27 to June 29.

This year's festival, under the theme "Yugu Flower Garden, Joy in Everyday Life," will take place in the natural gardens along the Yugucheon area and in the traditional market district.

The Yugusaekdong Hydrangea Garden, covering a total area of 43,000 square meters, is home to approximately 54,000 hydrangeas of 38 varieties, including Endless Summer and Pink Annabelle, making it the largest hydrangea garden in the central region.

During the festival, local artists will perform folk songs, Korean traditional music, and jazz. The "Hydrangea Night Market Pocha," operated at the Yugutritional Market Square, is expected to be a special space where visitors can enjoy night garden experiences along with various foods.

In particular, this year features the newly created "Yugusaekdong Moonlight Garden," decorated with illuminated lights to create a magical nighttime atmosphere. A photo zone for the younger generation has also been set up, providing the perfect spot to capture memories.

Mayor Choi Woncheol stated, "This festival is a meaningful event that goes beyond simple tourism, bringing together the region's nature, culture, and residents," adding, "I hope many people will visit Yugu and enjoy the joy of everyday life."
