CHAI Communication, a company specializing in AI-based digital marketing, announced on June 11 that it will be hosting the "2025 CHAI University Student AI Advertising Contest."


The "2025 CHAI University Student AI Advertising Contest" is the first contest organized by CHAI Communication, inviting undergraduate and graduate students from both Korea and abroad to propose AI advertising ideas. Applications will be accepted from Monday, June 30 to Thursday, July 31. Official sponsors, including Adobe Korea?which has signed a generative AI technology partnership with CHAI Communication?as well as Naver, Kakao, and the Korean Academy of Advertising, are participating to enhance the contest’s credibility and professionalism.


This contest is organized under the slogan "AI to Z CHALLENGE," which encourages participants to take on challenges with AI from A to Z. Its purpose is to discover creative ways university students can utilize AI in advertising and marketing. The core focus is to highlight how AI tools can be used throughout the actual advertising idea planning and execution process, as well as in creative work. Under the theme "Bringing Value to Everyday Life and Society from A to Z with AI," participants can choose to submit either an advertising idea that solves everyday inconveniences using AI or an AI-based environmental campaign for a sustainable planet. There are no restrictions on format, allowing for a wide range of innovative and creative solutions from the perspective of university students.


The winning entries will be announced in August. Teams awarded the Grand Prize and Gold Prize will receive prize money and the opportunity to participate in an AI internship program. During the internship, participants will work directly with company staff on AI projects and advertising campaign production, and there will also be a chance for the winning ideas to be implemented as actual campaigns.


A representative from CHAI Communication stated, "It is meaningful to finally realize the long-held dream of hosting this contest. We hope the '2025 CHAI University Student AI Advertising Contest' will serve as a stage for future advertisers and marketers to creatively utilize AI and pursue their dreams." The representative added, "The best technologies are always created by outstanding talent. Starting with this contest, we will discover and nurture excellent talent to further strengthen CHAI’s AI competitiveness and prepare for new advancements."
