Eastar Jet announced on June 11 that it will become the first Korean airline to launch a direct service between Busan and Phu Quoc (Vietnam).
This route will operate twice a week (Wednesdays and Saturdays) from July 26 to September 2, and four times a week (Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays) from September 3 onward.
To commemorate the launch of this exclusive route, Eastar Jet will hold a special promotion for all Busan departure routes starting at 10 a.m. today through its website and mobile application (app) and web page.
The minimum total one-way fare for the Busan-Phu Quoc route, including airport fees and fuel surcharges, is 99,000 won. Discounted tickets are also available for Busan departures to Kumamoto, Taipei, Okinawa, Yanji, Chiang Mai, and Jeju. Detailed information, including travel periods and total one-way fares, can be found on the Eastar Jet website.
An Eastar Jet representative stated, "Phu Quoc is a particularly popular resort destination in Vietnam, and there have been many requests from residents of the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam (Bu-Ul-Gyeong) region for a national carrier to operate this route. With this new service, we expect to greatly improve travel convenience for many people."
