According to Seo-gu, the ceremony was organized to return the sales proceeds and remaining sponsored goods from the bazaar held in April at Cheonji Funeral Hall to the local community.

The total donation, valued at 42 million won, includes 30 million won in bazaar proceeds and 12 million won worth of food items such as traditional dried seaweed and stir-fry anchovies. These donations will be used to support neighbors in welfare blind spots, including the elderly and low-income residents, through the public-private partnership project of 'Seo-gu Honors,' a group of major donors in Seo-gu.

Since signing an agreement in August 2023 for a 'secure and happy retirement,' Cheonji Culture Foundation Co., Ltd. has donated 10 million won each year. Last year, the company also donated proceeds and goods worth 30 million won raised through the bazaar.

CEO Bae stated, "We prepared the bazaar with the hope of bringing even a small amount of hope to marginalized neighbors in our society. I am pleased that the proceeds and goods can be used for meaningful purposes, and I will continue to participate in building a warm community."

Kim Ikang, Mayor of Seo-gu, said, "The valuable resources you have donated will be used meaningfully to address welfare blind spots and care for our neighbors. We will continue to do our best to spread the culture of sharing in Seo-gu, the city of kindness."

Meanwhile, CEO Bae Changsook is practicing ongoing sharing as the fifth donor of Seo-gu Honors.
