BNK Kyongnam Bank Provides Financial Education to Foreigners from Multicultural Families

BNK Kyongnam Bank announced on June 9 that it had supported the "Exciting Financial Education" program in collaboration with the Digital Learning Center Gyeongnam Project Group and the Gyeongsangnam-do Foreign Residents Support Center.

BNK Kyongnam Bank Provides Financial Education to Foreigners from Multicultural Families Exciting Financial Education.

The Exciting Financial Education program was named by combining the "D" from Digital Learning Center and the "G" from BNK Kyongnam Bank, together with BNK Financial Group's new social contribution brand, "Exciting." This financial education program was conducted for foreigners from multicultural families.


A professional instructor from the Digital Learning Center introduced ways to engage in economic activities with low capital to about 20 foreigners from multicultural families, including sessions such as "How to Become a KakaoTalk Emoticon Creator" and "Creating YouTube Content."


In addition, a professional instructor from BNK Kyongnam Bank provided fun and engaging financial education under the theme "Tips for Becoming Wealthy from a Rich Uncle."


Kim Kyungok, Executive Director at BNK Kyongnam Bank, said, "We decided to conduct the Exciting Financial Education program to help improve the financial lives of foreigners from multicultural families. Going forward, BNK Kyongnam Bank will continue to do its best to provide customized financial education for foreigners and various other groups."


Kwak Youngjun, Director of the Gyeongsangnam-do Foreign Residents Support Center, stated, "Jobs for marriage immigrants who are economically active are mostly in simple labor fields, so it is important to introduce various economic activities and methods. We will continue to provide the necessary support to strengthen the capabilities of marriage immigrants residing in the region so that they can actively participate in economic activities."


Meanwhile, in February, BNK Kyongnam Bank supported the "Shining Financial Education" program for foreign workers affiliated with the Gyeongsangnam-do Foreign Residents Support Center.
