According to the survey, 58.2% of respondents expressed the expectation that President Lee Jaemyung would perform well in his presidential duties. President Lee was elected in the June 3 presidential election and began his term of office on the 4th.

On June 9, polling agency Realmeter released the results of a public opinion survey (commissioned by Energy Economy News, conducted nationwide from the 4th to the 5th among 1,012 people aged 18 or older, using a 100% wireless automated response method, with a margin of error of ±3.1 percentage points at a 95% confidence level). The survey confirmed expectations for President Lee's performance in office. The proportion of respondents who predicted that he would "not perform well" was 35.5%. As a result, the gap between positive and negative outlooks was 22.7 percentage points.

Compared to the outlooks for previous presidents, President Lee's positive outlook was higher than that of former President Yoon Sukyeol (52.7%), but lower than those for Lee Myungbak (79.3%), Park Geunhye (64.4%), and Moon Jaein (74.8%). Realmeter explained, "President Lee's positive outlook figure is somewhat low compared to those of past presidents."

As for the top priority for the next president, economic recovery and stabilization of people's livelihoods ranked first at 41.5%. This was followed by prosecution and judicial reform at 20.4%, national unity and conflict resolution at 12.8%, political reform and bipartisan cooperation at 8.3%, and measures to address low birth rates and aging population at 4.6%.

In terms of party support, the Democratic Party received 48.0%, the People Power Party 34.8%, the Reform New Party 5.8%, and the Cho Kuk Innovation Party 3.7%.
