Shinhan Card Launches New Cargo Welfare Card: "Enhanced Driver Benefits to Maintain Top Position"

The company plans to maintain its top position in the cargo welfare card market by enhancing benefits for truck drivers compared to previous products.

Previously, Shinhan Card had introduced the "HD Hyundai Oilbank 55 Cargo Welfare Shinhan Card" and the "S-Oil 55 Cargo Welfare Shinhan Card." In 2023, the company unveiled the "SK55 Cargo Welfare Shinhan Card."

The new product offers an immediate on-site discount of 55 KRW per liter when refueling at cargo-preferred gas stations by each oil company (for SK Energy, at NaTruckPlus gas stations). There are no restrictions on the previous month's usage or discount limits.

Existing products differentiated the timing of benefits between on-site discounts and payment date discounts. The new product focuses card services on immediate on-site discounts, increasing the perceived benefits for customers.

In addition, customers can also receive fuel subsidy benefits from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

Licensed cargo transport business operators are eligible to apply for the card. Applications can be submitted through the Shinhan Card website or the Shinhan SOL Pay application. There is no annual fee.

A Shinhan Card representative stated, "To reduce the fuel cost burden for truck driver customers, we are operating a welfare card with the industry's highest level of on-site discounts in collaboration with major oil companies," and added, "We hope that customers using the new product will enjoy substantial benefits along with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's fuel subsidy support."
