According to the city, this group of supporters was established to directly cover urban regeneration sites in Iksan and vividly share diverse local content with both residents and outside visitors. The city selected a final group of 16 young people with content creation skills and a strong interest in the region through an open recruitment process held from May 12 to 27.

These supporters will explore not only major urban regeneration hubs throughout Iksan, but also various sites such as local attractions, cultural spaces, and examples of utilizing idle spaces. They will produce content in various formats, including videos, articles, and photos. The created content will be distributed via blogs, social networking services (SNS), and video channels, helping to widely promote the significance of urban regeneration and the appeal of Iksan.

The supporters will also receive practical capacity-building programs focused on hands-on experience, such as urban regeneration education, content creation workshops, and media strategy seminars. In particular, a stable operating system has been established, including activity allowances and the issuance of appointment certificates, providing a foundation for participating youth to take the lead in their activities.

The city plans to continue expanding youth participation, aiming to create a structure in which urban regeneration and youth activities grow together, and to realize the vision of "Iksan, a city where young people want to live."

A city official stated, "Urban regeneration is not just about changing spaces; it is also about restoring the stories and potential of the people in the community." The official added, "We hope that the activities of these supporters will share Iksan's urban regeneration story with many people and serve as a good example of young people taking the lead in local change."
