On June 4, Ansan City announced that it held the opening ceremony for the 'Small and Medium Business Consultation Center' at Gyeonggi Technopark in Sadong, Sangnok-gu, to support SMEs in participating in policy projects.

The newly established center aims to support small-scale companies that have struggled to access information on taxation and legal matters due to limitations in capital and manpower, and have faced difficulties participating in various policy projects supported by the government, local governments, and public institutions. In reality, there are about 12,000 SMEs concentrated in Ansan City, and a significant number of them have fewer than 10 employees.

In particular, the center plans to actively diversify and expand the Smart Hub Technology Development Support Project promoted by the city. By leveraging the personnel and expertise of Gyeonggi Technopark, the center will provide close support to resolve the difficulties faced by SMEs.

To this end, two expert consultants with extensive experience in corporate support will be stationed at the center. They will guide companies through various support projects offered by the government, Gyeonggi Province, and the city, providing free consulting throughout the entire application process and strengthening communication with the field. Local SMEs wishing to receive consulting can apply at any time, both online and offline, at Gyeonggi Technopark.

Lee Minguen, Mayor of Ansan City, stated, "We will spare no administrative and institutional support so that companies can more easily access and actively utilize various support projects."
