According to the province, this tour was organized to express gratitude for the dedication of soldiers committed to regional defense and to strengthen their ties with Jeonbuk. The program has been ongoing for three consecutive years since 2023.
This event was held as a themed tour in the Buan-gun area, accompanied by explanations from cultural tourism interpreters.
The soldiers visited, in order, the Mashil-gil trail where Shasta daisies were in full bloom, Chaeseokgang with its rocky cliffs blending into the West Sea, and Naesosa Temple along a tranquil forest path. Through these visits, they experienced the charming landscapes of Buan, where mountains, fields, and the sea harmoniously coexist.
In particular, the tour was scheduled to coincide with the blooming season of Shasta daisies, a representative spring flower, allowing the soldiers to fully enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of Jeonbuk with all their senses.
Kim Kwan-young, Governor of Jeonbuk Province, said, "I deeply appreciate the hard work of all soldiers serving in the province," and added, "I hope this Jeonbuk tour will bring vitality to the remainder of your service and become a fond memory that makes you want to return to Jeonbuk after your discharge."
Meanwhile, the province plans to continue offering cultural exploration programs for exemplary soldiers by linking military culture with local tourism resources, aiming to enhance Jeonbuk's positive image and further strengthen regional ties.
