The Jeongeup City Employment Support Center in North Jeolla Province announced on June 5 that it will hold the "2025 Jeongeup City Job Fair" at the Jeongeup Indoor Gymnasium from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on June 12.

The center has organized a customized job fair that encompasses all age groups, including youth, seniors, and people with disabilities, to promote regional employment stability. This year's fair will feature a total of 34 booths, with approximately 20 companies and institutions conducting on-site interviews for actual recruitment purposes.

At the venue, job seekers can participate in on-the-spot interviews simply by bringing their resumes. Introduction videos of participating companies will be shown frequently on LED displays to enhance access to company information. In addition, each job seeker who participates in an interview will receive an interview fee of 12,500 won.

Various side events are also planned to help job seekers prepare for employment. These include ID photo shoots, resume consultations with experts, an image-making zone, a job tarot zone, a rest zone with beverages, and a hands-on experience zone for making products from social cooperatives. These diverse programs are expected to provide practical assistance and increase participant satisfaction.

On May 22, the city's Employment Support Center held a coordination meeting with the companies and institutions participating in the fair to discuss event operations, role allocation, and matching strategies. During the meeting, various opinions were shared regarding collaboration between companies and ways to improve efficiency on the day of the event. Based on these discussions, preparations for the fair are being accelerated.

A city official stated, "Through this job fair, we aim to provide job seekers with a wide range of recruitment information and offer companies opportunities to secure talent, thereby contributing to regional employment stability and preventing population outflow."
