Parmesan Sauce and Crispy Onion Fries
Added to 'Quarter Pounder Cheese' and '1955 Burger'
McDonald's Korea announced on June 5 that it is launching new products: the 'Quarter Pounder Cheese Creamy Parmesan' and the '1955 Creamy Parmesan'.
These two new menu items feature a creamy and rich Parmesan sauce along with crispy onion fries added to the existing 'Quarter Pounder Cheese' and '1955 Burger', delivering a mouthful of crunchiness. Both burgers use thick all-beef patties, allowing customers to enjoy abundant juiciness and a rich beef flavor.
The 'Quarter Pounder Cheese Creamy Parmesan' enhances the rich beef flavor of the original Quarter Pounder Cheese with a generous Parmesan cheese sauce and crispy onions. The '1955 Creamy Parmesan' combines the burger's signature special smoky sauce with a rich Parmesan sauce for a more abundant taste experience.
On June 4, McDonald's held a pre-launch tasting event for general customers. The event attracted about 30,000 applicants, and approximately 11,000 people were selected to try the 'Quarter Pounder Cheese Creamy Parmesan' at stores nationwide one day before the official launch.
A McDonald's representative said, "Through the pre-launch tasting event, many customers resonated with McDonald's system and philosophy of always striving to provide delicious burgers." The representative added, "We will continue to do our best to develop menus and enhance taste and service capabilities based on our global quality standard, the 'Gold Standard', and our 'Made for You' policy, which ensures products are made fresh to order, to achieve customer satisfaction."
