"We Will Take the Lead in Responsible Operation"
Law&Company announced on June 5 that it has revised the service operation policy for 'LawTalk' and completed the incorporation of the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Justice.
On May 27, the Ministry of Justice released guidelines that stipulate detailed operational standards to properly establish lawyer search services. The guidelines consist of a total of 20 articles and cover search criteria, search results, notification obligations, and the content of advertisements, among other aspects.

Law&Company stated that it has reflected all provisions of the guidelines in its service, including those it was already complying with. For example, keywords such as 'Jeongwan', 'Jeongwan Yewoo', and 'Jeongwan Byeonhosa' are now completely blocked from lawyer and law firm searches within LawTalk.
Advertisement displays are now specified in greater detail. The description in the advertisement section now clearly explains the 'advertisement area by field' as well as the 'priority sorting of advertisement areas and the difference from non-advertisement areas.' In addition, the list of advertisement fields used by each lawyer is now fully disclosed on their profile pages.
Furthermore, the company has amended its terms of service so that if it is confirmed that a lawyer did not personally consult with a user, this fact can be reported to the Korean Bar Association or the relevant local bar association. The fee amounts previously displayed on lawyer profile pages will no longer be shown.
