'Connect Hyundai Cheongju Branch' to Open at the End of This Month
'Yongsan I'Park Mall Branch' Also Renewed
Baekmidang Expands Flagship Stores in the Seoul Metropolitan Area
Baekmidang, the dessert cafe operated by Namyang Dairy Products, announced on June 5 that it will expand its flagship stores, focusing on key commercial districts in the Seoul metropolitan area and regional cities.
On this day, Baekmidang is opening its 'LF Square Yangju Branch' on the fourth floor of the LF Square shopping mall, located in Okjeong New Town, Yangju. Baekmidang explained that, following the launch of the 'LF Square Gwangyang Branch' in Jeollanam-do in February, the decision to open in Yangju was made to secure a strategic foothold in the northern part of the Seoul metropolitan area with a similar location profile. The LF Square Yangju Branch is a hub for floating populations from nearby cities such as Uijeongbu, and attracts many MZ generation customers as well as families.
At the end of this month, Baekmidang will sequentially open the 'Connect Hyundai Cheongju Branch' in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province (scheduled to open on June 24), and the 'Yongsan I'Park Mall Branch' in Yongsan-gu, Seoul (scheduled for a renewal opening on June 25). The Connect Hyundai Cheongju Branch will be located on the GF floor Foodie Station of a multi-purpose commercial facility connected to Cheongju Express Bus Terminal, enabling it to serve both terminal users and local consumers. The Yongsan I'Park Mall Branch will be renewed as Baekmidang's first 'bakery-specialized store,' featuring an enhanced premium bakery menu that pairs well with coffee. Only at this location will the 'Croissant Ice Cream' also be available.
Last year, marking its 10th anniversary, Baekmidang began a nationwide store renewal project and has been expanding its stores not only in the Seoul metropolitan area but also in key regional commercial districts to broaden opportunities for brand experience. Following the opening of the Hyundai Department Store Jungdong Branch in September last year, the LF Square Gwangyang Branch in February this year, and the Seoul City Airport Branch in April, Baekmidang also plans to operate a popup store at Starfield Suwon (6th floor) until August.
Min Junyeon, head of Baekmidang, stated, "Based on the strong brand trust we have built in Seoul, we are continuously expanding major flagship stores not only in the metropolitan area but also in regional commercial districts," and added, "We will continue to broaden the scope of the brand experience by enhancing customer convenience and offering a variety of benefits."
