Ladoo, the Popular Character from Goraebap, Featured on Packaging
Expanding Connections with Children
On June 5, Orion announced the launch of the 'Dr.You Jeju Yongamsu Ladoo Edition,' featuring the popular character 'Ladoo' from Goraebap on the packaging.
This edition was designed to allow children and parents to experience Dr.You Jeju Yongamsu, made from Jeju's pure lava seawater, in a friendly and enjoyable way by utilizing the Ladoo character. The packaging showcases Ladoo in various scenes unique to Jeju, such as Ladoo dressed in a haenyeo outfit, Ladoo enjoying a picnic in a field of canola flowers, and Ladoo helping with the harvest at a tangerine farm. The product comes in a small 330ml size, making it easy for children to drink and convenient to take to school or on outings.
Dr.You Jeju Yongamsu is a healthy alkaline water with a hardness of 200, using Jeju's pure lava seawater, which is rich in minerals, as its source. The product has passed 104 quality tests, which is about twice the 54 tests required by drinking water management standards.
An Orion representative stated, "By incorporating Ladoo, the popular character from Goraebap, into Dr.You Jeju Yongamsu, we have added a sense of familiarity and visual enjoyment," adding, "We expect this will further expand touchpoints with consumers."
