BTS Festa to Be Held at KINTEX on June 13 and 14
Global "ARMY" Fans Cause Nearby Accommodations to Sell Out
All members of the group BTS will return this month. Following Jin (real name Kim Seokjin) and J-Hope (Jung Hoseok), RM (Kim Namjoon) and V (Kim Taehyung) will be discharged on the 10th, and Jimin and Jungkook will be discharged on the 11th. Suga (Min Yoongi), who is serving as a social service agent, will complete his service on the 21st. The group's "military hiatus," which began with the enlistment of the eldest member Jin in December 2022, will come to an end after about two and a half years.
The first official event signaling their full-group activities is expected to be the "BTS Festa," held to celebrate their 12th debut anniversary. This large-scale event, taking place at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province from June 13 to 14, will combine exhibitions and concerts. Experiential content that fans can participate in directly will be available at around 20 booths across two exhibition halls at KINTEX.
In the "Voice Zone," fans can listen to voice messages from the members, while the "BTS Locker" will display cherished personal items, and the "Trophy Zone" will showcase their award records. Fans can enjoy various interactive programs, such as coloring album artwork or listening to music selected by the members. A BigHit Music representative stated, "This year, both the scale of the exhibition and the overall operation have been greatly expanded compared to last year," and added, "We will provide fans with an abundance of sights and memories."
During the same period, J-Hope's world tour encore concert, "HOPE ON THE STAGE FINAL," will be held at the main stadium of Goyang Sports Complex nearby. As this coincides with the members' discharge dates, there is speculation that other members may also join him on stage.

June 13 marks BTS's debut anniversary, and every year, ARMY (the name of the fandom) from around the world visits Korea during this time. Following the announcement of BTS's return, the accommodation reservation rate in the Goyang area, where the BTS Festa will be held, has surged sharply.

The last album released under the name BTS was the anthology album "Proof," which came out in June 2022. The last concert they performed as a full group was "Yet to Come in Busan," held in Busan in October of the same year.
