In his congratulatory message, Mayor Kim stated, "I sincerely congratulate Asia Economy on its 37th anniversary, together with the citizens of Gumi. Since its founding in 1988, Asia Economy has paved the way as a leading economic media outlet in South Korea, encompassing both online and offline platforms."
He continued, "Asia Economy has achieved a successful digital transformation across the entire process of content production, processing, and distribution. It has grown into a truly representative digital economic media outlet in the country, and has faithfully fulfilled its role as a central media organization that leads public opinion by vividly capturing the voices from local communities."
Mayor Kim especially emphasized, "Such achievements are thanks to the dedication and hard work of CEO Jang Beomsik and all the executives and staff who have upheld the principles of fair and accurate journalism. I express my deep gratitude and respect, and give my wholehearted applause and support."
