The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education announced on June 2 that it held an appointment ceremony in the Strategic Conference Room on the 5th floor of its main building on May 28, and has begun operating the research committee to improve field-oriented education policies.

The newly appointed committee members will focus on six areas: customized learning guidance, future education, democratic citizenship education, educational welfare, protection and support of educational activities, and regional coexistence and cooperation. They will analyze policy effectiveness and propose improvement measures in these areas. All members are teachers and education experts with extensive experience in the field.

Through this research, the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education aims to support the holistic growth of students and reflect the real voices of the educational field in its policies.

Superintendent Kim Seokjun stated, "I hope the committee members' in-depth research will lead to policies that drive the future of education in Busan," and added, "We will spare no administrative and financial support to ensure that field-oriented research continues."

Since last year, the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education has been strengthening its collaborative research system between the Office of Education and schools, and plans to continue expanding its 'field-oriented research platform' to enhance policy implementation capabilities.
