On June 2, KG Mobility announced that it has strengthened the product competitiveness of the Torres and Torres Hybrid by offering new packages as optional features for the T5 trim.
This change is characterized by expanding the range of options, allowing customers to select popular features?previously available only on higher trims?even on the entry-level T5 trim.
The new optional features are offered in package form to enhance convenience and driving stability. There are two packages available: the IACC (Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control) and 12.3-inch KGM Link Navigation Package (priced at 1.5 million KRW), and the Deep Control II and Smart Power Tailgate Package (priced at 1.3 million KRW).
If the Deep Control II and Smart Power Tailgate are selected separately, the cost is 1.4 million KRW, but customers receive a 100,000 KRW discount when purchasing them as a package.
The Deep Control II package includes a variety of safety systems, such as Blind Spot Collision Assist (BSA), Rear Cross Traffic Collision Assist (RCTA), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Rear Cross Traffic Warning (RCTW), Lane Change Warning (LCW), and Safe Exit Warning (SEW).
The new configurations can be applied to both the Torres and Torres Hybrid models. According to a KGM representative, this allows customers to purchase the Torres Hybrid, equipped with highly preferred features, at a reasonable price in the 34 million KRW range.
The selling prices for the Torres Hybrid are as follows: T5 at 31.4 million KRW, T7 at 36.35 million KRW, and Black Edge at 39.7 million KRW.
A KGM representative stated, "By making popular features, which were previously available only on higher trims, selectable on the entry-level trim, we aimed to increase customer satisfaction," and added, "We will continue to enhance product competitiveness by reflecting customer needs in the future."
